Salem Community College names Student-Athlete of the Month

Ariana Slaughter and Letrea Lee have been named Salem Community College’s Student-Athletes of the Month for December.

Slaughter has been a bright spot so far this season. She is currently averaging 5.3 point per game and had a season high 11 points vs. Camden earlier this year.

Lee has demonstrated he is a force inside. Standing tall at 6 feet, 7 inches, Lee has made his impact felt on the defensive end. He currently is second on the team in blocks.

In addition to their success on the court, both freshmen recently volunteered at the FIRST Lego League Competition at Salem Community College. The Lego League Competition is a robotics program which engages children in science and technology.

Ariana attended Salem High School and resides in Woodstown. Letrea attended William Penn High School and resides in New Castle, Del.
