PARCC Testing Schedule
The Salem High School Show Band is looking for a bass player, drummer, male vocalist, and female vocalist to participate in the band this spring. If interested please see Mr. Botbyl in the bad room for more information.
Raffle tickets are on sale now for a Salem High School T-shirt Blanket. The blanket is made from 25 Salem High School T-shirts. Tickets are $2 each or 6 for $10. See Mrs. Mutter or Ms. Murray to purchase your winning ticket. The raffle will be held in late May. Sponsored by the Class of 2017 & Student Council.
The 2017 yearbook is complete. Please make sure you reserve a copy, to see yourself in the book. A limited number have been ordered, please see Ms. Hibbard in C10 with your deposit or full payment of $55, as soon as possible.
All students who have received and continue to receive college acceptance letters, please bring a copy to Ms. Cuff in the Guidance office as soon as possible. We need YOU on the college acceptance board in the front lobby!
Seniors please stop by the Guidance office to pick up the latest scholarship information. Please see Mrs. Gatson for details. Scholarships are also posted on the SHS Guidance webpage.

Selective Service Message:
All young men are reminded that when you turn eighteen you must register for Selective Service within 30 days of your birthday. Not registering is a felony. You will be fined $250,000 and you may also have to serve up to 5 years in prison. You will also lose certain benefits such as student financial aid, government employment, and US citizenship for male immigrants. Registration forms are available in the Main Office and at your local post office or you can register online at www.sss.gov
