The Salem County Branch NAACP will be hosting its annual Freedom Fund Banquet on Saturday, Oct. 22 at the Edward W. Dorn Center, Pedricktown
The program will begin at 3 p.m. and tickets are $50 per person.
Honoree recipients are:
- Barber Avenue School Association -- Community Service
- Janice Corbin -- Education
- Elliott Hernandez -- Law and Public Safety
- Gregg Martin -- Youth Services.
The Rising Star recipients are:
- Shanequa Gross, Penns Grove High School
- Starchild Jackson, Salem High School
- Julian Norman, Woodstown High School
- Titiana Woods, Schalick High School
Milton W. Hinton, Jr. will be the guest speaker.
